Organic Coprinus – The excellent edible mushroom
The Bio Coprinus, also known as the Shaggy Ink Cap, is an outstanding edible mushroom found in Europe from mid-April to November. It often grows in clumps in meadows, pastures, and forests and can reach a height of up to 20 cm, including its hollow stem.
Its scaly caps and the black, inky liquid into which older specimens dissolve give it its unique name. This liquid was once even used as writing ink.
